Maple Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin butter is something I have been making since I was a little girl; just the smell of it reminds me of my grandmother and autumn in Chicago. I’ve found that most pumpkin butters muffle the pumpkin with too much spice, so I designed my recipe to enhance the pumpkin with the natural flavor of Vermont maple syrup.
You will find yourself putting this on EVERYTHING! I use it in my oatmeal, in my martinis and also as a mind blowing cheesecake topper.
