Maple Pumpkin Butter
It's that time of year again!!
Pumpkin butter is something I have been making since I was a little girl; just the smell of it reminds me of my grandmother and autumn in Chicago. I’ve found that most pumpkin butters muffle the pumpkin with too much spice, so I designed my recipe to enhance the pumpkin with the natural flavor of Vermont maple syrup. The key word here is MAPLE, because I chose my favorite maple syrup on planet Earth: Deep Mountain Maple from my slow food pals in Vermont. It’s so tasty, you are going to love every maple-y, delicious bite. This is my fall seasonal HIT.
Fans have nicknamed this "Smashing Pumpkin Butter." Ha ha, Jammies, very funny.
