It is a little warm here in beautiful Echo Park, Los Angeles so I also decided to make ice cream. While in Paris I stopped by Angelina Cafe and bought some of their hot chocolate mix to bring home. It was a little hot today for coco, so, feeling nostalgic for Paris, I made ice cream out of the mix. I put a little of the spiced cherry preserves on the top and had the most AMAZING little treat. Chocolate & cherries are as heavenly in Los Angeles as they are in Paris. ]]>
Paris France: look at all that amazing fruit I am fresh home from France but back to work. My "work" is also my love so it is actually exciting to me. I went to the Echo Park Farmers Market yesterday and bought some AMAZING cherries from one of my favorite farmers Tony Balderama. His family farm has been growing cherries and citrus (and a few plums) for over 80 years. He is amazing and so sweet to talk to. I bought a case this week for experimenting.
